You're the God of this city
You're the King of these people
You're the Lord of this nation
You Are
You're the Light in this darkness
You're the Hope to the hopeless
You're the Peace to the restless
You Are
There is no one like our God
For greater things have yet to come and greater things are still to be done in this city
For greater things have yet to come and greater things are still to be done here.
Chris Tomlin "God of this City"

This past week was such a blessing to me by being able to spend time with my students and not teaching them. We took so many pictures, laughed a lot, and had some fun watching movies and eating food.  Allison and I had made a slideshow for our students, and they went CRAZY when they saw it.  God has done so much in my heart over these three months and the relationships I have with my students are ones that I will never forget.  Through the many good times, as well as the many bad times, I would not trade a single one of them for anyone else.  They have brought so much joy and light to my life…and I have so many crazy memories that will always remind me of them!
I have been listening to Chris Tomlin's song "God of this City" for the past week constantly.  This song should be our prayer for every nation and every area of the world.  As I am getting closer to leaving Swaziland, and as school is over, I know that my job here is coming to an end.  But though I am through, God is not finished with Swaziland. He will send more people to spread His love and to bring His life to Swaziland.  I know that most of these kids I will never see again on this side of eternity, but I pray that I will see them with God for eternity.
This song encourages me as I have to give these people that I have come to love over to God.  He alone will bring hearts to Him….He alone will heal Swaziland.  I know most of the situations that my students go home to each day, and it breaks my heart that I will go home to a comfortable situation.  I don't want to leave here unchanged, but I also don't want to leave here.   I am having to trust that God is the Lord of this nation and that He has great things to come.
